PRINGLE OF SCOTLAND: FULLY FASHIONED PREVIEW AT THE SERPENTINE
As a part of the celebrations to mark the 200th anniversary of the iconic knitwear brand, Pringle of Scotland held a private view at the Serpentine Gallery of Fully Fashioned, The Pringle of Scotland story, curated by Alexander O’Neill due to open at the National Museum of Scotland in April.
The exhibition was complemented by a companion piece, a series of brand films commissioned for Fully Fashioned: Knitwear | movement – a collaboration with the world-famous Michael Clark Dance Company.
The event was also an opportunity to unveil the Albert Watson Showcase, the latest venture in a series of artist collaborations. The anniversary brand campaign features great Scots Stella Tennant, David Shrigley, Edinburgh Fashion Festival founder Anna Freemantle and artist Robert Montgomery. Together with actor Luke Treadaway these talents are captured by legendary Scottish photographer Albert Watson.
